Why did Logicor acquire Pfastship?
Logicor acquired Pfastship in order to offer the best, enterprise-class, multi-carrier shipping solutions for IBM iSeries, Microsoft Windows and Linux platforms. Logicor has over eleven years of consulting and software development experience in the transportation management and shipping execution business. We knew that Pfastship possessed stronger technology than other leading products on the market. Rather than trying to “recreate the wheel,” the leadership at Logicor decided to acquire this technology. Needless to say, we posses what we consider to be the most sophisticated, feature-rich solutions available on the market. Most importantly, we're better equipped than ever to meet your comprehensive transportation management and shipping execution needs.


How will I benefit from Logicor's acquisition of Pfastship?
By combining the Logicor and Pfastship's portfolio of products, employees, and industry expertise, customers gain instant access to stronger solutions and enhanced service levels. Without having to change anything about the way you currently do business, you've formed a relationship with the providers of the best technology and the most customer-focused resources in development, professional services, and technical support. For over eleven years, Logicor has enabled customers to achieve greater supply chain efficiency and profitability, and it is our mission to continue that success.


Will my current products be affected?
You do not need to change your current systems in any way. We will continue to offer support and services for pfastship Elite and pfastship400i systems. Please note that we also continue to support Kewill products, like Clippership. Be aware, however, that all pfastship products have been re-branded under the Logicor name. In other words, the Pfastship name no longer applies to Logicor products. Specifically, pfastship Elite is now known as GlobalShip™ and pfastship400i is known as GlobalShip iSeries™.

You are not required to alter your current systems, but as your needs evolve, we ask that you check with us to make sure you are using the most optimal of Logicor's powerful solutions to meet those needs. We will keep you informed of product offerings and options of new releases and technology capabilities, so that when you're ready, you can further streamline your transportation management and shipping execution processes.


How do I refer to the company?
Although Pfastship Worldwide Logistics in now legally named Logicor Worldwide Logistics, it is simplest and least confusing to simply call the joint company Logicor. For example, you don't need to refer to your organization as Logicor Worldwide Logistics customers; you can say that you are Logicor customers. This way our entire customer base is united under a common term.

As we have for over eleven years, we continue to sustain measured growth that serves the needs of our loyal customers and employees. Also, we plan to introduce you to our management team in the coming months, so that you can get to know the leaders whose vision and commitment moves Logicor forward.


What are Logicor's product offerings? Are they now integrated with Pfastship's former offerings?
Logicor now offers GlobalShip, on the Windows and Linux platforms. This product brings true N-tier, Internet-based architecture to the enterprise with high-volume and high performance shipping as well as desktop multi-carrier, mailroom functionality. We also offer GlobalShip iSeries, a market leader on the IBM iSeries platform with a proven track record of superior performance. Both solutions seamlessly integrate with business applications, such as order management, ERP, EDI, WMS, TMS and high-speed print & apply. Designed for companies of any size, Logicor solutions reduce shipping costs, streamline efficiencies, and improve shipment visibility throughout your supply chain.


Will the joining of these companies affect the technical support and professional services available to me?
You now have access to increased resources in both of these areas. There will be no interruption to continuity of service or in-progress projects and the service will continue to be far superior to industry standard. We take great pride in offering individual attention and in being a truly customer-focused organization.

How do I obtain professional services or new software modules?
